Led by the experienced greenkeeper Paul Law, our committed greens team members, Paul Whilton, Carl Morgan and Peter Small, work from the early hours each day to present the course in the best possible playing condition.

The team also puts in long shifts on Saturdays and Sunday so greens are cut and prepared, bunkers are raked, and tee positions are varied for weekend play. For major competitions, new hole positions are set.

The team is keen to develop the course further and take a leading role in any major on course projects.

As players we can all ‘do our bit’ in supporting their work. Replacing divots, repairing pitchmarks, smoothing out bunkers and using the waste bins, each ensure the greens team can focus on maintaining the course in the excellent condition we have become accustomed to.
