My 4-ball have just returned from the most memorable day at yours and I feel I must thank you, Nick and everyone.
The welcome we received from Nick and his band of helpers was warm, friendly and very personal.
We had breakfast which was served professionally and promptly.
The course is in an exemplary condition and the buffet was imaginative and fantastically presented - the quality was 10/10.

Please accept my sincere gratitude which goes to all those who helped to stage the Staffs Amateur Championship and to make it so successful.
South Staffordshire is a true test of golf, rewarding accuracy off the tee and sensible course management. The course itself was magnificently presented. Having talked to many players throughout the day, they had nothing but praise for the course and the manner in which it had been set up.
As always , everyone at the golf club made us very welcome. The bar and catering did a wonderful job fulfilling all of our needs in what ever trying conditions given the heat they were working in.
Sue LeBeau, as always was a great help, not only on Saturday but in the weeks leading up to the championship. The way in which Sue and Malcolm worked as a team made sure that the day went as smoothly and seamlessly as possible.

On behalf of my fellow Warwickshire golfers, may I say a big thank you for organising things for us so splendidly on Wednesday last. We all truly had a very enjoyable day, and a lot of that is down to you, Viv and the rest of your staff, who could not have been more helpful or accommodating.
The greens and fairways were fast and in great shape, and the pro shop side of things most helpful and efficient.
I am really pleased I chose the South Staffordshire Golf Club as my Captain’s Away Day event. You can all be very proud of yourselves, well done. We all got back safely with a few tales of 'derring do' to tell. Thanks for the tip on going out to the M54 first, that saved me a lot of return journey time too.

I have no doubt you will hear some feedback from Staffs Police anyway, but I thought I would write to you about my thoughts. I played at your beautifully maintained course and thoroughly enjoyed it!
The whole group from Staffs Police loved the course and all the staff that made our day amazing. The grounds inside and out were immaculate and we were well looked after. All the members we spoke to were lovely and friendly.
The staff were brilliant and were all excellent, although I have to give a special mention of exceptional customer service from Theresa. She even brought out towels for us to give the seats a wipe down before we sat down because of the rain, it's the little things like this that we all thought was going the extra mile. The food was also brilliant too!
I would love to come back again and play this wonderful course!

I played in the Pro-Am yesterday and wanted to drop you a quick line with some feedback.
Peter Baker: If you could pass on my and our groups thanks for the time he spent with us in the morning, it was greatly appreciated. As insightful, personable and witty as ever, please wish him a speedy recovery from his bout of gout from all of us.
Pro Shop: I wrongly assumed that the halfway house would be open and as we played on down the 10th hunger and thirst set in. Matt very kindly came out on a buggy with refreshments for our group, and again, greatly appreciated and a service that doesn't have to be provided. Our friends from the Pro Shop do go above and beyond, in my view, and it was noticed by my playing partners too. Great ambassadors for our club and please pass on our collective thanks.
Catering: Would you be kind enough to thank Len for the meals we enjoyed afterwards. Quality cooking prepared with quality ingredients and devoured by all. A real asset to our club not only for his catering but in the humble and friendly manner in which he conducts himself.
Viv: Last but not by any means least, Viv looked after us from breakfast through to supper, She's so polite and attentive and makes the bar a very welcoming place.

I have just returned home from SSGC after an afternoon with the AUGS society. It goes without saying that the golf course was great but just as importantly we had supper on the patio in glorious sunshine.
The food was superbly cooked and presented by a party of new (to me) staff that worked really well as a team. I am really impressed with the whole experience and so was everyone in our party.
This is good stuff and we haven’t even opened up the clubhouse yet!

It was great for us to get back on a golf course again. The weather and the course were great. Unfortunately, the golf itself was decidedly average but the welcome and service we received from your staff was "top notch".

“This was a special event held in the dining room of South Staffs Golf Club in October 2019 where Peter Williams invited John Gough, a Wolves director, to come and talk to the attendees, bringing along with him the EFL Championship trophy that Wolves has won that year.
The evening was a fantastic occasion, held for the annual meeting of the past presidents of the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton . I remember the evening so well from the help I was given on choosing the menu and the service on the night, which was so special. I’ve kept the bill and photograph as a memory of what was a wonderful evening, concluded with us all sharing a glass of port.”

"In recent years I have arranged three Rotary Club Charity days at South Staffs Golf Club, all very successful. The advance planning with the office and pro shop all went very smoothly and the people involved made the task straightforward.
The course was set up just as we wanted on the day, and the club provided a pro for the popular “beat the pro” competition. The course itself is a pleasure to play, so there is no difficulty attracting golfers to take part.
We could choose between a running buffet or sit-down dinner, both of excellent quality, and the service and choices at the 19th all contributed to enjoyable days."
